My portraits are very casual. I don't spend much time trying to get kids to hold a pose (with the exception of newborns of course), instead I just follow them around as they play in order to capture their personalities. My favorite shots are close up expressions. Don’t panic if they won’t hold still or hold a smile. They can’t hide their personalities and I’ll be ready for those perfect moments... smiles included.

How long will my session last?

Newborn sessions can last up to 3 or 4 hours so that we can work around your baby's needs and temperament. We want to make sure your baby gets all the cuddle time he or she needs. Plan on about 2 hours for older children. Keep in mind that these are just guidelines (I am happy to take as much or as little time as needed).

What should my children wear?

Bright colors and textures can really add to a photograph so avoid dressing them in white or black. Avoid graphics and clothing with text. Patterns or solid colors work best. If you want to spice it up consider funky tights, unique hats, or layering bright colors. Newborns look the most natural in the buff, a diaper, or in simple bloomers. Textured blankets and fabric make great newborn backdrops.

Where will my session take place?

I am happy to come to your home, or we can choose an alternate location such as a park or a neighbor’s backyard etc. If we choose an indoor location we will just need to make sure that there is a lot of natural light. I prefer not to use a flash.

When should I schedule my newborn session?

Newborn sessions should be scheduled before you deliver! The session should take place when your baby is between 1 and 10 days. Although we typically won’t be able to set and exact date, I’ll be able to adjust my schedule so that I’ll be available when your little one arrives.

$75 for up to two children older than 6 months. ($25 per additional child)
$75 for newborns up to 6 months

What's included:

12 Edited images (6 of my choice and 6 of yours) in a password-protected online gallery.
A password-protected online gallery of the unedited image to choose your 6 from.
I’ll edit images beyond the 12 for $10 per image.

I am partnered with a top of the line professional photo lab in San Francisco and prints can be ordered directly through your proof gallery. Choose a print package or order a la carte.

Digital Download Pricing -- In today's world we don't always want physical prints so I thought I'd offer the option of purchasing the digital files in a couple of sizes. If you do the math, the disk of all the edited images is typically your best deal. Please feel free to contact me with questions about digital files and sizes.

High-res (Original file size) -- $20.00
All edited images -- $150.00
